Step off the rocks at the lodge or take the skiff to deeper reef stops where the water turns from turquoise to deep blue. Coral, reef fish, the occasional turtle – and on the boat snorkel tour, pods of dolphins pass through often enough that guests stop being surprised. Bring your own mask if you’re attached to it, otherwise we hire gear at the lodge for K50.

Questions about the Snorkeling tour
Do I need to bring snorkel gear?
No – we hire masks, snorkels and fins at the lodge for K50 per day. Bring your own if you have a preferred mask fit.
Will I really see dolphins?
Often, but not always. Pods pass through the bays we visit on the boat snorkel tour, but we can’t guarantee them. Most weeks at least one boat trip has a sighting.
Is it safe for non-swimmers or kids?
Yes – the water at Auong Bay is shallow and calm, and we have buoyancy aids on the boat. Let us know when you book so we can match the spot to your group.
How much does the snorkel tour cost?
K600 per boat for lodge guests, up to 8 people – same price whether there are three of you or the full eight.
